From comfort to action: HoSt Group’s CEO talks change at ‘De Rode Loper’

27 January 2026
What an incredible evening it was at “De Rode Loper” (Red Carpet) in Enschede, where HoSt Group’s CEO Jelle Klein Teeselink took the stage with renowned Dutch journalist and presenter Jort Kelder to discuss the topic that defines our era: Change. In a candid conversation, Jelle shared his experience leading the company as a young, second-generation entrepreneur, building on the foundation laid by our founder, Herman Klein Teeselink, and delivered a clear message: it’s time to move from comfort to action.

HoSt group’s approach to renewable energy innovation

Throughout the interview, Jelle’s passion for technology and the energy transition was unmistakable. One of the central themes of the evening was the need for decisiveness. Too often, organizations get stuck in endless planning phases while the climate challenge demands real, tangible progress. Jelle’s message to the audience was simple but powerful: don’t just plan, do. For HoSt Group, this philosophy translates directly into how the company approaches innovation and project execution in the renewable energy sector.

Technicians and engineers are key to reaching climate goals

A second highlight of the conversation centered on the people who make the energy transition possible. Jelle emphasized that ambitious climate goals cannot be achieved without a vital, practically trained workforce. Engineers, technicians, and craftspeople are the backbone of the transition. Their expertise deserves far more recognition and respect than they often receive.

Collaboration is key: achieving common climate goals together

The final theme of the evening was the importance of working together. According to Jelle, real progress on the energy transition requires shared goals and a willingness to compromise. Success isn’t about individual organizations chasing their own interests. It’s about the bigger picture, and that means collaboration across industries, governments, and communities.

HoSt Group would like to extend special thanks to Ondernemend Twente for the invitation to take part in this inspiring evening. We were left energized and more determined than ever to keep driving the energy transition forward, together.
