HoSt Group strengthens Executive Board with Arthur Vlaanderen as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Strategic reinforcement for global growth
In recent years, HoSt Group has achieved strong and consistent growth of approximately 30% per year on average. This growth requires further professionalisation and the structural recruitment and development of high-quality talent; in 2025 alone, more than 145 new employees joined the organisation. This increase in scale directly supports the group’s mission: the global decarbonisation of industrial processes worldwide. HoSt Group has formulated an ambitious target for this: to achieve cumulative CO₂ savings of 25 million tonnes by 2032 through innovative systems for renewable gas, sustainable electricity and heat, hydrogen, and CO₂ capture.
To support this growth in a sustainable manner, HoSt Group invests structurally in research and development. The group works closely with universities, colleges and technical training institutes with the aim of accelerating technological innovation while ensuring a continuous influx of (technical) talent.
Role of the Group CFO
Vlaanderen’s appointment is closely aligned with the HoSt Group’s current phase and ambitions. In his role as Group CFO, he will be a co-architect of the organisation’s strategic course. The focus will be on international expansion, targeted strategic investments and further strengthening the financial and organisational foundations of the HoSt Group.
Central to this are talent development, the realisation and operation of the company’s own green energy production locations and the further development of in-house technological innovation. This coherence between high-quality technology, strategic investments and implementation forms the basis of HoSt Group’s long-term strategy.
Arthur Vlaanderen commented: “HoSt Group combines the strength of a family-owned business with groundbreaking international ambitions in its long-term vision. I look forward to working with this young, driven and dynamic team to strengthen the strategic course and together deploy our circular and green high-tech solutions for the international energy transition.”
According to the Executive Board, Vlaanderen’s vision and experience fit seamlessly with the ambitions of HoSt Group. Jelle Klein Teeselink, CEO of HoSt Group, explains: “We welcome Arthur with great enthusiasm to HoSt Group. His strategic acumen and substantive depth are an excellent fit with who we are as an innovative family-owned business. With the increasing complexity of our organisation and our accelerating international growth, his experience is of great added value. Arthur brings the structure and flexibility needed to further realise our ambitions in green technology.”
Focus on the future
With Vlaanderen joining the Executive Board, HoSt Group is strengthening the foundation for a new, ambitious growth phase. His strategic input supports the further professionalisation of the organisation in a phase in which international scaling, capital-intensive investments and increasing technological complexity converge.
This development is also becoming physically visible. At the end of 2026, HoSt Group’s head office will move from Enschede to new premises in Hengelo at the High Tech Systems Park: an innovation campus developed on the former Thales site, where high-tech companies and talent meet and reinforce each other. The new building will initially accommodate approximately 400 employees and can be scaled up to 800 workstations in a second phase. HoSt Group currently has more than 650 employees worldwide and is therefore not only internationally active, but also firmly anchored in the Twente technology region, an important home base for technical and international talent.
